Will Sean Hannity Join Ailes and O’Reilly by Exiting FOX?

Hannity

Several years ago I had a minor encounter with FOX Noise’ Sean Hannity. This little man played to his entourage and was extremely arrogant and condescending. I offered this tidbit of meaningless information simply to explain why I’m not surprised about the following story.

Debbie Schlussel was a frequent guest on FOX Noise. Friday, she was interviewed in Tulsa Oklahoma by a radio host named Pat Campbell. Ms. Schlussel accused FOX entertainment personality Sean Hannity of sexual harassment.

The incident occurred in Detroit before and after a scheduled debate. Before the event Hannity asked her to join him at a book signing, during which he asked her to come up to his hotel room after the debate. She declined, but after the event he pressured her once again; Schlussel once again declined. She has never been invited back to FOX since the incident.

Several former female FOX employees described a work environment where the male celebrities believed themselves infallible and assumed that any action they might take would be forgiven.

The question now is will other past or present female employees step forward and make similar accusations against Hannity? Is it possible that within a year the Republican propaganda machine will have lost its three top celebrities, Megyn Kelly, Bill O’Reilly, and Sean Hannity?

FOX is one of the prime reasons our nation is so divided. Through lies and misinformation, FOX personalities have blamed progressives for everything wrong in our nation and our government. They refuse to criticize such traitorous GOP politicians such as Dick Cheney, Ann Coulter, Newt Gingrich, Mitch McConnell, and Donald Trump. In fact, Hannity has been one of Trump’s most vocal supporters.

When O’Reilly previously settled a sexual harassment lawsuit in 2013, FOX management ignored the revelation that it had been recorded, and was in fact the truth. Later, when facts revealed that O’Reilly’s tales of his journalistic accomplishments, and therefore the content of his books, were falsified, once again the network ignored the truth. When Roger Ailes and communications magnate Rupert Murdoch created FOX Noise, they had a singular goal; profit. The truth was of no concern; their god was money. O’Reilly had the highest ratings and they chose to ignore the fact that everything about their “star” was based on lies. The fact that O’Reilly’s actions as a sexual predator, which could cost the network millions of dollars, were finally exposed forced his removal from the fake news network.

As FOX begins to implode, those of us who cherish the truth are celebrating. FOX changed the fourth estate and created the term ‘fake news.’ I used to watch “CBS This Morning;” I no longer watch any television “news.” I became disillusioned with Charlie Rose and Nora O’Donnell. They were once excellent journalists, but during the 2016 campaign they refused to force Trump’s campaign team to answer the tough questions. They had adopted FOX belief that ratings are more important than facts and the truth.
