Republican Senator from Louisiana, John Kennedy, Tells the American People to “Kiss his Ass”

Everyone with the exception of Trump and the Trump Party agree that with the surge of the coronavirus, it is too soon to open our schools. Trump is acting once again more like an autocratic tyrant than an elected public servant and demanding that the schools be reopened.

40 of 50 states are experiencing a resurgence of the first phase of the pandemic, including our largest states, California, Florida, and Texas. Parents, teachers, and now teacher’s unions are afraid for their children and how their children might infect other family members. One of Trump’s most loyal supporters and a traitor to the people of Louisiana, Senator John Kennedy, is siding with Trump and not the people of America. His comment to teacher’s unions was apropos of the low class men and women who serve the worst president in history. He told all those who oppose reopening our schools to “kiss his ass.” Profit before people continues to be the Republican mantra.

“America’s going through a rough patch right now. Some people seem to be enjoying it. Maybe they just hate America. Maybe they just enjoy watching the world burn. I think some are liking the chaos because they think it gives them a political advantage. Part of that chaos is caused by school’s closing. For our kids, we need to open them,” Kennedy said.

“There are some people who want to keep our schools closed because they think it gives them a political advantage. They are using our kids as political pawns. To them I say, unashamedly, that they can kiss my ass,” he said. The GOP lawmaker noted, however, that there are some people who have “good faith” disagreements with his position. Really?

Once again, this is the “Trump Effect” and why our nation is now in the control of thugs and charlatans who care about money and reelections while ignoring a growing danger to the people of our nation.

It is Trump’s failure from the beginning which has caused both the devastating loss of life and the nosedive in our nation’s economy. His inability and refusal to lead our nation are the only reasons why America has suffered more from the coronavirus than any other nation. Trump has failed our nation more than all other presidents in history.

Kennedy, Moscow Mitch McConnell, Lindsey Graham and many others have revealed themselves as men and women who have abandoned their principles and have become traitors to the future of our nation’s people.
