If you are an informed American, you are convinced that right-wing politicians are racists and oppose democracy in America. Voter suppression aimed at minority voters, refusal to support social programs which would benefit Americans most in need, and unquestioning support of Donald Trump offers proof that their personal ambitions are more important than the future of America and the people of our once respected country for members of the party of right-wing extemism.
Reports from several states are suggesting that the violence related to protests involving the murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis was intentionally caused by white supremacist groups. For decades, these fascist groups sought a race war in America. Are they using the death of an innocent black man at the hands of a white, racist police officer to create public outcry, and aid their anti-American cause?
Anyone who watched the films, viewed the pictures, or listened to the audio about the last minutes of Mr. Floyd’s life cannot deny that Officer Derek Chauvin murdered a man who was only suspected of a crime.
The truth, and the saddest part of this story, is that deaths of black men and women at the hands of law enforcement are all too commonplace in America. More disturbing is that the representatives of our judicial system charged with enforcement are rarely punished for their crimes.
Today, evidence acquired by authorities in Minnesota has revealed that a white supremacist group instigated violence in Minneapolis which resulted in arson and the destruction of public property.
“The situation in Minneapolis is no longer in any way about the murder of George Floyd,” Governor Walz said today. “It is about attacking civil society, instilling fear and disrupting our great cities.”
“We have seen things like white supremacist organizers posting on platforms about coming to Minnesota,” Minnesota Public Safety Commissioner John Harrington said at the same press conference, adding that a potential connection to organized crime is also being investigated.
Reports indicate that the culprits are the “Boogaloo Bois.”
“Those folks who are agitating and inciting are taking advantage of the pain, of the hurt, of the frustration, of the anger, of the very real and legitimate sadness that so many of our community members feel, to advocate for the destruction of our communities,” St. Paul Mayor Melvin Carter said.
These hate groups are Trump’s most loyal supporters, and have been protected by your illegitimate president for the last 40 months.
Black America has been under siege for decades by racist members of law enforcement in both blue and red states.
Think about this undeniable fact. Black parents find it necessary to teach their children how to respond to law enforcement fearing that any actions which might threaten the representatives of our justice department might result in the loss of their lives.
Our nation has many problems which existed before I became a young man and continue to exist today. No president, and few members of congress have displayed the courage to expose the extent of racism in America.
Our nation must grow up. Although black Americans are all related to men and women who came to America as slaves, every one of them I have been proud to call friends are loyal to our nation. It’s time for our country to be loyal to them.
