These are Trump’s People; I’m not Certain they can be Defined as “Americans”

Militia

First, for those of you who don’t know who or what “Antifa” is, let me tell you. Antifa is short for “Anti-Fascist.” It began in Europe, appearing at events held by white supremacist groups, and Neo-Nazi organizations. It’s purpose was to expose radical right-wing extremism. Sadly, on occasions some of those in attendance became violent.

Antifa is an organization without organization. There are no leaders and no agenda other than to raise awareness.

On Saturday, hundreds of right-wing militia members and bikers arrived at Gettysburg National Cemetery with guns in hand. They were responding to false reports that Antifa was planning to burn a flag at the location. This is what Trump demands during every one of his hate rallies: anger, hatred, and violence.

What did these “geniuses” find at the cemetery? One man. He was a Christian pastor who was visiting old friends on the anniversary of our nation’s independence. With only a single target, and wearing a “Black Lives Matter” shirt, they harassed the man who videotaped the entire incident. These fascists are Trump’s people.

Police arrived and encouraged the man to leave the park. “For his own safety, federal law enforcement made the decision to remove him, and he was escorted out of the cemetery,” said Gettysburg National Military Park acting public affairs officer Jason Martz.

This is Trump’s America: is it yours?
