How Collusion between the Right-Wing Extremists and Russia Prevented a Great Presidency and Gave us ‘Drumpf’

Hillary Clinton was President Barrack Obama’s Secretary of State during his first term. Prior to holding this post, she was a First Lady, and a United States Senator. Her efforts to maintain relationships with nations around the world allowed America to gain the respect and trust destroyed by the Bush 43 presidency. When she resigned, and was replaced by John Kerry, Republicans immediately began to spread lies and conspiracy theories, fearing her eventual candidacy in 2016.

I knew, and they knew that Hillary would be the most qualified candidate in our nation’s history. Her life’s tale is a history of service to her country. Right-wing extremists immediately began plans to destroy her credibility among lesser informed Americans.

Their efforts began with a conspiracy theory about the tragic events in Benghazi, Libya. Four Americans died in the 2012 Benghazi attack: Ambassador Chris Stevens, Information Officer Sean Smith, and two CIA operatives, Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods, both former Navy SEALs. Stevens is the first U.S. ambassador killed in an attack since Adolph Dubs was killed in 1979.

Although investigations proved that this well-planned attack offered no blame to any American group or individual, Republican Congressman, Trey Gowdy, created a committee to find blame for the loss of American lives focused on Hillary.

After eight investigations, and at a cost of $7.8 million over two-and-one-half years, the committee was finally disbanded. This fallacious effort harmed Hillary’s credibility although she was completely exonerated.

In July of 2015 the FBI began an investigation into Hillary’s use of a private e-mail server. If she used this service to e-mail government information to her counterparts in foreign nations, she was in violation of federal law. Not only did Republicans spread innuendos and lies about this matter, broadcast television “news” aided Republican efforts.

In July of 2016 Hillary was interviewed by the FBI for three-and-one-half hours. Three days later, FBI Director, James Comey, announced that his organization found no evidence that criminal action had occurred.

This didn’t stop right-wing extremists and the television media from repeating the story time an time again. This included Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump, who encouraged his supporters to chant “lock her up” repeatedly at his hate rallies. Once again, the underlying effort was to create additional doubts about her credibility.

On October 8, 2016, just 11 days before the election, Comey announced a reopening of the e-mail investigation.

Prior to this day, the FBI, NSA, CIA, and MIA confirmed that Russia was attempting to interfere in our election with the intent of aiding Trump’s campaign. After a meeting in the Oval Office between these security agencies, President Obama, and congressional leaders of both parties in early October, I would have expected that the American people would be informed of the truth. Under threats from Moscow Mitch McConnell, you and I, the voting public, were prevented from knowing the threat to a fair election. Keep in mind, Russia’s action was a literal “declaration of war.”

Russia was flooding social media with lies and rehashing the falsehoods about Benghazi and Hillary’s private e-mails.

Now for the biggest lie of all, and it came from a months long effort to investigate possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. Robert Mueller’s report contained at least one lie: it claimed that Russian interference “had no effect on the outcome of the 2016 election.” Really?

Here are the facts. Russian interference, combined with the mainstream television media which offered Trump five-times more coverage than all other candidates combined, reduced voter turnout in several states, which was far less than expected based on voter registration. Three of these states were Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin. A total of 77,000 votes in these three states gave Trump his victory in the Electoral College. No effect???

Old and Beaten Trump

Donald Trump, originally Donald ‘Drumpf,’ did not win the 2016 election. Other sources won the election for him. He lost the popular vote by three million ballots, and the American people were denied their choice of the woman who should have become the 45th President of the United States.

If you agree with me, that it is up to us, the American people, to return our nation to a country moving forward and on a path to becoming great, you must vote. Not only is removing Trump a must, his party is complicit and must be forced to retire.

I do not believe that political parties should exist, and encourage every voter to be Independent, choosing the most qualified candidate who is aligned most closely with your beliefs and needs, this is the one time I encourage you to vote for anyone who does NOT have an “R” next to his or her name. Republicans are the enemy of the American people.
