When Trump’s ignorant cult sits in the stands during one of his many, many hate rallies, they cheer when he drinks a glass of water. Real Americans want the truth, and regardless of how many lies Trump tells, he is not smart enough to fool us, although he believes he can.
In March, Trump was informed by our security agencies in the President’s Daily Brief that Russia placed a bounty on U.S. and British soldiers in Afghanistan. The Taliban would receive compensation for every death of an American or British soldier.
Trump tweeted that “there have not been many attacks” on US troops by Taliban fighters as his evidence that the reported intelligence may be “phony.” The President’s tweet went a step further than a Saturday statement from the White House in which press secretary Kayleigh McEnany did not deny the validity of the report, but instead said Trump and Vice President Mike Pence were not briefed “on the alleged Russian bounty intelligence.”
Did Trump read that PDB? Probably not; he chooses not to or is unable to read any document for more than a few seconds. However, there is absolutely no doubt that one of his aides informed him of the information gathered by the CIA. Whatever the situation, the truth is that Trump chose to ignore the information. He is unfit to claim the title of “Commander-in-Chief.”
Nothing happens in Russia without Putin’s knowledge. With that fact, placing a bounty on American soldiers is a declaration of war. It is the very definition of an “aggressive action” serious enough to declare Russia an enemy to the United States of America.
Leaders of other nation’s who are members of the coalition in Afghanistan took the threat seriously, but not Trump, and we must ask “why?”
This is another crisis which Trump is either incapable of or unwilling to address. America is without leadership in the White House, and the question remains, “what is Trump’s true relationship with Vladimir Putin?”
I will leave you with a few facts; something for you to think about. Trump was invited to Moscow by the KGB in 1987. At that time Vladimir Putin was a high level agent in the Russian spy agency. There is no doubt that the two men not only met, but engaged in conversation during his visit. In 2005 Trump took the Miss Universe Pageant to Moscow for the first time. Once again, there can be no pretense that the two did not meet once again. In 2013 the pageant returned to Moscow once again. It is this time period which was covered in detail by former MI6 agent Christopher Steele in his dossier, which has not been disproven by any security agency. Steele claims that this was the beginning of a plan to place Trump in the White House.
Have a great day and stay informed; this is your country.
