Our founding fathers required years of written and verbal discussion to complete what would become the ‘Law of the Land,’ the Constitution of the United States. The first 10 amendments, labeled the Bill of Rights, include the foundation for what America was to become.
By creating a three tiered government, a check and balance system was established to curtail corruption and the ability of a single branch to have enough power to control the other two, safeguards were included in their final design. This also guaranteed that America would never have a monarch: an autocrat who could amass all power under his absolute control. To ensure this fact congress was given slightly more power than the executive and judicial branches. For example, the power of impeachment.
Enter the illegitimate election of Donald John Trump and the surrender of the legislative branch by Moscow Mitch McConnell and Lyin Paul Ryan. With one empty seat on the Supreme Court, and another soon to follow, Trump would soon have complete control over the government of the United States.
It soon became obvious that there were several problems. First, the world quickly learned that Trump was mentally incompetent and unfit to lead a nation of more than 310 million people. Then, during the debacle of the right-wing’s efforts to repeal Obamacare, and replace it with a new healthcare system which would remove adequate medical services from 24 million people, Trump, McConnell, and Ryan learned that there were a few remaining Republicans who had not surrendered to Trump and his new party. Moscow Mitch, Lyin Ryan, and the buffoon in the White House displayed a lack of intellect not even I imagined.
Most importantly, real Americans discovered a valid conspiracy in Washington. Bowing to the demands of special interests, Republicans were creating a plutocracy. Soon the working class would became virtual slaves to the rich. There remained a single problem: a plutocracy cannot exist in a democracy. When fair elections were held and all citizens eligible to vote did their duty and went to the polls, the men and women needed to protect their ambitions would be removed from the power structure. Therefore, steps must be taken to remake America into a fascist state. Uniting whites only, who control 99 percent of America’s money and power, against every other citizen would result in domination over the great majority. And all of this was working: at least until the 2018 midterm elections. For Republicans the ‘manure struck the air conditioning unit.’
Some say it was a “blue wave,” I called it a “pink wave.” Control of the House was regained by Democrats and Independents. On June 4th, 2019, the newly elected members of the House began to pass legislation to serve the people, and at the same time expose the fascist efforts of the right-wing and the illegitimate presidency of Donald John Trump. Layers of corruption were exposed, and the power play of these Republicans in name only began to fall apart.
Trump abandoned men and women who failed him by choice or through failure to serve the egomaniac in the White House until the West Wing echoed with empty offices everywhere. A few were replaced by men who would bow to Trump’s demands. They renounced their personal integrity to serve the worst man in the world. Included in these traitors to the American people were Mike Pompeo, and William Barr.
Regardless of right-wing extremists, Trump was eventually impeached on February 5, 2020.
Today Democrats and citizens watchdog organizations are calling for not only Trump’s removal from office, but the impeachment of Trump’s Attorney General, William Barr. Demands for the resignation of other members of Trump’s circle of sinners fill pages of legal documents.
Barr has failed to perform his duties from day one, proving that his only purpose is to protect Trump from multiple lawsuits and other legal actions which would remove him from Washington forever.
The government of the United States of America is the most corrupt in the developed world. I am aware that the approval rating of congress is below 10 percent, but I ask how it could be that high?
