12,800 empty seats and no “overflow” crowd. This is what the Tulsa fire department reported during Trump’s hate rally in Oklahoma Saturday. Could it be possible that a large percentage of Trump’s supporters have become tired of his bullshit? Have two crises in 2020, his failure to lead America’s fight against the coronavirus, and the continuing protests across America demanding police reform, are forcing them to question Trump’s claims?
Saturday’s event began with the release of information that six of Trump’s campaign staff in Tulsa tested positive for Covid-19. The main event was inside the arena, but two events were added outside the venue to appease what was expected as an overflow crowd. After the small crowd which had received tickets was allowed inside, the barricades and other arrangements made to contain those remaining outside were dismantled; no one was there.
The truth is that Trump made fools of millions of voters for years.
“Never tell the truth to people who are not worthy of it.” Mark Twain
Is this the way Trump felt about the people who supported him? Does he feel that way today?
I have always found that the truth cannot be hidden forever. Liars have trouble remembering their lies, and eventually stumble as they make vain attempts to retell their falsehoods.
“Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth.” Buddha
Trump’s entire life is an illusion; nothing about him or his Klan is real. They have used people for their advantage for decades. Today, Trump us using voters to help him remain in a position to increase his personal wealth.
