I and others who have followed Donald John Trump for years were fully aware that the failed businessman was a racist, and most likely a supporter of the white supremacy movement in America. After the violence and death of a young woman in Charlottesville, Virginia, on August 12, 2017, the world learned the truth.
Statements after the tragedy made from the White House by DJT confirmed your illegitimate president’s support of fascism and the neo-Nazi movement. A simple few words exposed the @RealDonaldTrump: “There were good people on both sides.” Really?
Anger, hatred, and violence dominate the actions and beliefs of these white, right-wing extremists. The truth is that a deep fear is the driving force behind every one of these groups. Some misguided and ignorant men and women who are descendants of all-white ancestors are forced to witness our young nation changing more quickly than they anticipated. Diversity is becoming the new normal in America and will soon become the majority.
Most real Americans are pleased with the changes; this is what our leaders anticipated as the ‘new nation’ was established. We are a nation of immigrants, and it is what makes the United States of America not only unique, but also more diverse in our culture and our ability to learn new things; to develop new ideas.
Less informed Americans believe that racism is growing in America since DJT became our illegitimate president; not true. Racism has always been the primary reason our nation has never been ‘great.’ What our nation is experiencing today is reality. With their leader now defiling the White House, these hate groups have become emboldened and are boldly standing in the light of day. They have been crawling out from under rocks, and slithering from the slime in our cesspools and ponds for near four years; after Trump received the Republican Party’s nomination in July of 2016.
Still hiding in the shadows are the most extreme; the worst of America. These haters are seriously planning a second Civil War. Across our country, linked by the internet, hate groups are proposing this war under the code name of the “boogaloo.”
At the center of this war on American principles and ideals are America’s ‘gun nuts.’ They believe the lies from the right-wing and the NRA gun lobby. Although no one I know of has ever proposed taking all guns away from the American people, they believe the propaganda and lies of such divisionists as Trump, Moscow Mitch, Wayne LaPierre, and fake journalists on Fox Noise.
During all my years as a writer I have learned many things about our nation’s government and its people. Sadly, I learned that ignorance is often the driving force behind the words and actions of our leaders in Washington and the average man and woman. All forms of prejudice are a display of extreme ignorance. Racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia, Homophobia, anti-Semitism, and misogyny, are all the result of raw emotion and a lack of intelligence.
Finally, the truth cannot be denied. Our nation is growing. The average age of all Americans is 38.1 years of age. Younger men and women tend to be more progressive. As a group they reject bigotry in all forms. Equality; the equality promised by our founding fathers is their guiding virtue. Although they are often criticized by men and women my age, they are more representative of what America stands for in the 21st century. Their values are the core values of our founding fathers.
Throughout President Obama’s two terms in office most hate groups hid from the light; the truth. What is happening today is the “Trump Effect.”
