Probably the biggest lie Trump ever told was that he only “hires the best people.” Trump’s cabinet and closest advisers, those who remain on his staff, are the least qualified men and women in American history. From Steve Mnuchin, to Betsy DeVos; from Wilbur Ross to Ben Carson; and from Ryan Zinke to Scott Pruitt, they are not only unqualified, they are corrupt and destructive. FYI, the last two have been forced to resign for their criminal behavior.
I have called the Trump administration a circle of sinners for the last two years because they are.
More than 50 percent of Trump’s cabinet, directors, and advisers have either resigned or have been fired. One of his current staff is a man by the name of Robert W. Patterson. Patterson is the Social Security Administration’s acting associate commissioner in the Office of Strategic and Digital Communications.
We can all be grateful that he is not a member of the Department of Health and Human Services, or any other agency related to women’s health. The label “idiot” is often overused, however, in the case of Patterson, “if the shoe fits.”
Patterson, like the rest of Trump’s circle of sinners, is totally unqualified to serve in Washington. He is a long-time conservative commentator, and a vocal advocate suggesting that a “woman’s place is in the home.” Can you say “extremist?” If not, can you say “sexist?”
Patterson’s most ridiculous and ignorant belief is related to the use of condoms. In a journal called “The Family in America,” he made a claim “suggesting condom use robs a woman of ‘remarkable’ chemicals found in semen that have been shown to elevate mood and self-esteem” and claiming “that ‘semen-exposed women’ perform better on concentration and cognitive tasks.” What the f**k!
This man is not a medical professional, a scientist, or a man with average intelligence. He is another right-wing extremist who makes up what he believes “on the run.” But he is “one of Trump’s best people.”
