It Was never “the Wall,” Until Trump’s Advisers Jogged his poor Memory

Wall (2)

Just prior to the Trump Shutdown, your illegitimate president had promised to sign a bipartisan bill extending the budget until February 8th. Then Ann Coulter, Mick Mulvaney, and other extremists on his despicable staff reminded him of his promise to build an “unnecessary wall” on our southern border. Trump reneged on his promise and told 800,000+ government employees that he was shutting down the government until Democrats agreed to nearly six billion dollars in funding for his 16th century edifice to ignorance and stupidity. Democrats included $1.6 billion for added border security, but not for an idiotic wall.

The “wall” was a creation by Trump advisers who were looking for sensationalism in 2014, long before Trump declared his candidacy. No on looked at the possibilities, the cost, or the effectiveness of a border wall, it was merely a campaign promise which was never intended to become a reality.

“How do we get him to continue to talk about immigration?” Sam Nunberg, one of Mr. Trump’s early political advisers, recalled telling Roger J. Stone Jr., another adviser. “We’re going to get him to talk about he’s going to build a wall.”

However, it was Trump who rashly made the claim that Mexico would pay for it; which will never happen.

Trump’s advisers are aware that the wall is a dumb idea. Border security can be achieved in a far less glamorous and costly fashion, but the wall has become a symbol of Trump’s illegitimate presidency. He has accomplished nothing in 23 months and 15 days, and never will. His White House staff is lacking in experience and qualifications. More than 50 percent of his original staff has been fired or has resigned. Although Trump claimed that he ‘only hired the best,’ and that ‘people were lined up to join his administration,’ the facts prove that no one who wishes to retain their dignity and integrity will join Trump’s circle of sinners.

It is an unforgivable fact that Trump’s unnecessary wall is the reason that 800,000+ men and women have been furloughed, and why thousands of these hard-working Americans are forced to work without compensation.

Not only is this the most corrupt administration in history, it is also the least compassionate. Trump, his staff, congress, and the Supreme Court continue to receive their salaries. The men and women who actually do the work necessary for our government to function are at home, struggling to pay their bills.

Give this some serious thought when you go to the polls on November 3, 2020. This is our country; it does not belong to the Republican Party.
