The right wing Supreme Court approved the rights of homophobes to refuse service to the same-sex community. However, when California Representative Maxine Waters suggested that real Americans stand up to Trump’s immoral professional liars, she received death threats.
White supremacists, American terrorists, and Neo-Nazis are cowards and should be deported; they reject the Constitution and cannot be called Americans.
To Ms. Waters’ credit she refused to back down. The new leader of the Democratic Party stood before a large crowd in Los Angeles Saturday which was gathered to protest Trump’s policy of separating migrant families. She spoke directly to those who made death threats; of course, they were anonymous.
“I know that there are those who are talking about censuring me, talking about kicking me out of Congress, talking about shooting me, talking about hanging me,” Waters told the crowd in Los Angeles.
“All I have to say is this, if you shoot me you better shoot straight, there’s nothing like a wounded animal,” she added to cheers.
While the official leadership of the Democratic Party criticized Ms. Waters, and remained docile in the face of constant lies and attacks by their illegitimate president and his circle of sinners, she proved that she is the liberal leader of the new Democratic Party. No more pacifism; it’s time to attack and attack with the one weapon Republicans cannot defend; the truth.
Ms. Waters is a hero. She will be 80 years young in August. A 28-year-old woman, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez defeated a 20-year veteran of the House in the Bronx Tuesday. She describes herself as a ‘Democratic Socialist.’ Today’s Democratic Party is led by an older woman with the strength of young ideas and courage supporting her, and the future of liberal thinkers who is inspiring younger voters to go to the polls and have their voices heard. For years I claimed that women would lead the way to a bright future and save our nation from regressive old, white elected officials who now control our government.
