Trump Sends Missiles into Syria; Will they be a Deterrant to Assad, or are they Symbolic?

Tomahawk

The Trump administration has no declared policy about the genocide currently occurring in Syria as President Bashar al Assad continues to murder his own people with bombs, and chemical weapons. Assad is a despot whose only goal is maintaining control in his country. His efforts have been supported by Vladimir Putin financially and militarily. The most important question which must be asked by legitimate news agencies is was this a compassionate effort by Trump, or a calculated effort to distract the fact that he is nearing the end of his presidency based on the expose of his criminal and treasonous actions against the United States of America.

Trump cares about Trump and no one else. He will do anything to save himself from criticism and expulsion from the White House.

Let me be clear here. If these attacks on Syria are effective and produce results which will weaken the Assad regime, I will be the first to offer my support for the Trump administration’s actions. However, I am skeptical. I do not trust your illegitimate president.

I never agree with Trump’s rhetoric, but yesterday was an exception.

“These are not the actions of a man,” Trump said, referring to Assad. “They are crimes of a monster.”

“The purpose of our actions tonight is to establish a strong deterrent against the production, spread, and use of chemical weapons,” Trump said.

I sincerely want to believe that Trump has taken actions which could be called presidential for the first time in 14 months and 24 days. However, if this is nothing more than an effort to distract the American people from the fact the the case against your illegitimate president is nearing completion and will force him from office, I will not hide my disappointment or disgust.

Only time and tweets will tell.
