There is no excuse for being stupid. When indisputable facts are offered, and any human with half a brain denies them, they are choosing to be ignorant. This is unacceptable. If you are the illegitimate president of the United States, and you choose to be ignorant, you are a danger to all mankind.
Many of the White House staff were aware that Rob Porter had not received a full security clearance, and why. It was hidden from the public. Today one reporter is claiming that approximately 100 staff members continue to have access to classified information without receiving clearance to do so.
Included in this number are Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump.
In Porter’s case, the reason for refusing his request for a security clearance at the highest level was based on allegations from two ex-wives who charged him with domestic violence.
It has yet to be confirmed whether or not Trump was fully informed about Porter’s situation. However, when he did learn about Porter’s resignation, and the reasons for that resignation, he questioned the veracity of the allegations by the two women.
How are Republican women who continue to support an immoral and criminal man responding to the issue of domestic violence? I can only describe their reactions as weak, and defensive as they attempt to protect their illegitimate president’s own 19 charges of sexual assault and at least one instance of domestic violence.
“I’m extremely disappointed in this situation. Abuse is never OK,” Sen. Joni Ernst, R-Iowa, said on CNN Tuesday.
Ernst has never supported on issue important to real women.
“It’s the mixed signals. They’ve just got to be stronger, more consistent, clearer in the message” to women, Sen. Shelley Moore Capito, R-W.Va., said Tuesday.
Seriously? I am not a woman and I am outraged and Capito should be as well. As a young child I watched my father beat my mother. I kept dimes in my pocket so I could run out of the house and call the police. Laws during that time period protected my father, and no action was ever taken.
Republican women are weak and more concerned about their party than escalating violence in America. Hate crimes have risen 800 percent. In the last 35 days, there have been 18 occasions when a shooter has opened fire in one of our schools. This does not happen in any other nation in the entire world. Domestic violence has virtually been ignored, although the number of daily cases are in the thousands.
With a sexist in the White House, and a like-minded staff, nothing will be done at the federal level. During his rallies Trump encouraged violence, and his pitiful rhetoric today offers proof that he continues to believe that physical force is the answer. He has rejected diplomacy and honest discussion.
A couple of days ago, former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon expressed his fear that women would control our country in the near future. I hope that he is correct. Men have caused harm to our nation for 229 years. It’s time for real change. I will be supporting female presidential and congressional candidates exclusively in 2020.
