Ryan ‘Called Out’ by his own Party as his Failures Continue to Mount

Ryan (4)

When Paul Ryan accepted the position of Speaker of the House, his arrogance allowed him to believe that he would be able to control the minds of 238 members of his own party. He believed that the failures of John Boehner would not become his own. On December 9th, 2016, Ryan decided to bow to the new and first American fuhrer. This created enormous problems for the failing Speaker. There are at least three separate factions in the House among Republicans. Although Democrats are in the minority, some have friends on the other side of the aisle.

Moderates are the minority in today’s Republican Party in name only, while extremists, and ultra-extremists who call themselves the ‘Freedom Caucus’ are in control. If Ryan refuses to support their demands, any hopes of delivering the House to Trump becomes non-existent.

Ryan is in a ‘catch 22;’ he’s damned if he does, and damned if he doesn’t. All 435 members of the House, including Ryan, are up for reelection in November. As of this day, 38 Republican members of the House have announced that they are not running for reelection. The party which has 218 or more members controls the House and the position of Speaker emerges from that party.

Ryan is not in a position of power. He either makes a serious attempt to solidify his party or serve his master. Although outwardly Republicans have expressed confidence, the truth is that they are aware that they will be battling for their seats in November. If they continue to support the most unpopular president in history, what will the people do in their individual states?

Ohio Republican and member of the ‘Freedom Caucus, Jim Jordan, ‘which is bought and paid for by billionaires such as the Koch brothers, attacked Ryan for his weaknesses and inability to lead. His major complaint is the unrestricted government spending by Trump in just his first year, and Ryan’s acceptance of that fact.

“Just a few years ago, he was viewed as the leader of fiscal responsibility in our party,” Jordan said. “And now he presides over a bill that increases spending $300 billion, a trillion-dollar deficit, when we were so poised to win this fight. Of course he’s got problems.”

Between the tax reform bill and the budget agreement, an increase of over two trillion dollars will become the reality of a failed Trump administration. Those who side with Trump, including Senator Dean Heller, who is the senior senator from my state of Nevada, will have a very difficult time winning primaries and the November election. Ryan, who has been screaming about the deficit since 1999, has been exposed. He has lied to the American people for nearly 19 years. He is not a ‘fiscal wizard,’ he is a self-serving and pretentious failure.

Ryan is not a leader, he is an opportunist. He will say or do anything to advance his career.

If the people of Wisconsin place their country and their families ahead of the failed Republican Party, they will vote Ryan out of office in November.

Please vote and save your country and your loved ones.
