Jeff Sessions Will Soon Need to Smoke the ‘Pot’ He is Attacking

Sessions (3)

Everyone, I mean everyone in Trump’s circle of sinners, is at Camp David this weekend; except Jeff Sessions. There is little doubt that the white supremacist from Alabama will soon be extricated from the White House.

Sessions is the most unpopular Attorney General in American history, and has failed to perform his duties without prejudice and with logic and even compassion.

Sessions’ most recent attack has been on the rights of states, and the rights of the people of those states, to embrace recreational marijuana. A couple of days ago Sessions rescinded a memo from his predecessor which promised not to interfere with states whose voters passed laws legalizing the use of marijuana. Legislators from those states immediately became alarmed. Although they claim that their anger is based on a ‘state’s rights’ issue, the fact is that it is economic. States which have legalized marijuana have experienced millions of dollars in additional revenue.

Cory Gardner is a Republican Senator from Colorado. In 2012 he opposed the initiative in his state to legalize recreational marijuana. Today he is defending the law in opposition to Sessions’ personal ‘war on drugs.’

Gardner called Sessions’ decision “a trampling of Colorado’s rights, its voters.” He vowed to put a hold on every Justice Department nominee until Sessions reverses course.

How does your illegitimate president feel about the eight states and the District of Columbia whose voters have approved of the issue?

“I think it’s up to the states, yeah. I’m a states person,” Trump said at the time. “I think it should be up to the states, absolutely.”

That’s what he said before he perjured himself when he took the oath of office. We’ll have to wait and see.

Please re-post; thank you.
