Sessions’ Gestapo Must be Disbanded

Sessions (3)

Laws are enacted by the will of the people; the majority; or they should not become law. Trump’s administration believes in a different form of government. America was created for whites only, and fascism should replace democracy.

When the hypocritical, Republican controlled Senate approved Jeff Sessions’ nomination as Attorney General, I knew immediately that the legal rights of the majority would be ignored to support a small group’s demented views of how our nation should be. His long history of racism proves that he is a white supremacist who once said that he ‘accepted the Ku Klux Klan until he discovered that some of them used marijuana.’

In most cases, state’s rights, and laws passed in those states by the voters, supersede federal law. This is the situation in states which have approved the use of recreational marijuana. Alaska, Colorado, Washington, California, Oregon, Massachusetts, and Nevada overwhelmingly approved their state’s referendums. The citizens of Maine have also passed a similar law, but their extremist and sanctimonious governor, Paul LePage, says that he will not sign the bill into law.

Although President Obama was opposed to recreational marijuana, he and his Attorney General agreed to respect the people of states who approved of its use. Sessions is planning to rescind that agreement. He wants to prosecute anyone who uses marijuana, including for medicinal reasons.

Sessions must be removed from his position, and two conservative politicians agree with me. Mark Meadows, Freedom Caucus chair, and Jim Jordan, a member who sits on the oversight and judiciary committees in the US House of Representatives, agree that Sessions must resign.

Their reasons for demanding his resignation do not include Sessions’ war on the American people, they are based on a controversial issue which could add additional protection for Trump’s probable indictment by Robert Mueller’s Grand Jury.

“Attorney General Jeff Sessions has recused himself from the Russia investigation, but it would appear he has no control at all of the premier law enforcement agency in the world,” they wrote. “It is time for Sessions to start managing in a spirit of transparency to bring all of this improper behavior to light and stop further violations.”

The truth is that there is a very long list of why Sessions must be removed. He seeks multiple violations of the Civil Rights Act, and the Constitution of the United States of America.

Please re-post; thank you.
