“I think if we continue to create jobs like I’ve done — over 1 million since I’ve been in office, way over 1 million.” This is what Trump told his supporters in Phoenix on Tuesday. Did he tell the truth for the first time, or was it more of the same; braggadocio?
I think you know the answer.
First of all, past presidents including Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barrack Obama never used the word “I” to discuss jobs in America. They used “we,” “our businesses,” or other accurate terms to explain statistics. Presidents cannot create jobs by themselves. Secondly, Trump inherited the eight-year effort of President Obama.
“President Trump is obviously incorrect if we interpret his statement literally, because, as you say, it is the nation’s (mostly private) employers who are responsible for the employment growth,” Gary Burtless of the Brookings Institution wrote in an email.
Let’s be completely honest; Trump has done nothing in his seven months and four days in office. He has been a failure because he doesn’t know what he’s doing, and refuses to learn. He’s too busy tweeting, watching FOX Noise, or golfing. He is the first “retired president” who continues to live in the White House.
Finally, Trump’s entire rally was an effort to heal his fragile ego. I continue to claim that Trump is mentally incompetent and cannot be allowed to remain in office. Whether it is his weak temperament, fragile ego, or his inability to focus on a task for more than a few minutes, Trump is either senile or schizophrenic. He cannot be trusted with the nuclear launch codes; the world must be protected from this weak-minded and dangerous man.
Please re-post; thank you.
