The one thing I know about Trump is that he fails to think before he speaks. It is even more evident that he does not consider the repercussions of his tweets and re-tweets.
When Trump tweets the purpose is to attack those who criticize him or the press. They are never informative, although at times his ‘thumbs slip’ and he leaks sensitive information.
When Trump re-tweets, the subject matter is always praise for himself and his “accomplishments.” What Trump does not do when he re-tweets is to check the source; ‘flattery will get you everywhere.’
In January of 2016, Trump re-tweeted several messages from an account which was later suspended because of its numerous white supremacist messages.
In July of 2016, he re-tweeted messages which called Hillary Clinton the ‘most corrupt candidate ever.’ This account was also suspended after it was discovered that it originated from a white supremacist group.
“Trump still routinely hits the retweet button if a Twitter user echoes his criticism of his adversaries or showers him with praise — regardless of who that user is or what his or her motives may be,” the Washington Postreported Monday.
But is that entirely true? Trump has surrounded himself with white nationalists including Robert Mercer, Steve Bannon, Jeff Sessions, Betsy DeVos, and others. “A man is judged by the company he keeps.”
Trump’s most recent twitter blunder happened last Saturday when he re-tweeted a message praising him for ‘working hard for the American people.’ Was this another hate group supporting their illegitimate president? He should have known that this was a ‘fake account’ right away; Trump has not worked one day after six months and 20 days in office. Sunday twitter suspended the account.
The number of avid Trump supporters is dwindling. Those who remain continue to be angry and filled with hate. They are also 99.9 percent white.
Trump’s agenda would greatly benefit the one-percent; including himself. It would also harm the working class; low income Americans; families living in poverty; and all minorities.
Trump’s plan for living in the White House is simple; make America white again, and increase his personal wealth. There is nothing more.
Please re-post; thank you.
