“Christians” Force the Women of Kentucky to Use Deadly Abortion Practices from the Past

The more I research articles to offer my readers, the more I learn that most “Christians” do not believe in the words of Jesus Christ which are offered in the bible. These religious fanatics are judgmental and would destroy the Constitution in support of their twisted beliefs.

In 1973, the Supreme Court upheld Roe v Wade. This landmark decision upheld the rule of law and denied attempts by Christian religious groups to interfere in both government and women’s rights. If you believe that abortion is ‘murder,’ that’s your right. But you do not have the right to force a woman to endure an unwanted pregnancy. If you refuse to offer her the right to choose what happens to her own body, you are not a true American. When religion becomes a consideration for our legislators in Washington, they are violating the first amendment, and creating issues which should be left in the home and not in the process of governing a nation.

Kentucky’s Christians have a goal; force the closing of the last abortion clinic in the state.

Under the misnomer, “Operation Save America,” a group of religious fanatics has focused on a single issue. That issue is not to ‘spread the word of god,’ or to preach love and compassion, it is to create division in America by denying women their personal rights. OSA’s leader, Rev. Rusty Thomas, has said on the record that “the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks were a punishment from God on the United States for legalizing abortion.”

Let’s take a trip back in history, and look at the reasons the Court upheld Roe v Wade.

Prior to guaranteeing a woman’s right to legally terminate a pregnancy resulting from rape or incest, these women were forced to use dangerous means to prevent the birth of an unwanted child. Many women died each year attempting to protect their future. The Court rightfully recognized the fact that women have the right to make decisions about their physical and mental health. Individual religions have no rights in America. The first amendment guarantees ‘freedom of religion;’ all religions. It also guarantees the right of all Americans to deny religion.

Freedom is the right of all Americans, and when Republican politicians support the Christian religious right, they are denying the rights of all other Americans. They are breaking the law of the land.

The truth is that Christian religions are having difficulty recruiting new members. Millennials refuse to accept organizations based on fantasy; they demand proof. These young men and women compose the largest voting bloc in America; replacing baby boomers. They will decide the future of America as old and incompetent white men shed their earthly bonds. Soon Trump, Sessions, McConnell, Hatch, and many others will no longer be able to harm America.

Support women’s rights; they will lead us into the future and reject the evils of the past.

Please re-post; thank you.
