Trump’s Base Slipping Away? What Will Happen if Trumpcare is Passed?

Trump Rally

Trust is an issue of great importance for every living thing. However, when we are talking about politics, trust is everything. If a candidate can gain the voter’s confidence, he or she is virtually ‘bulletproof.’ But once that trust is lost, it will never return.

The polls show that few Americans trust Donald Trump. More people trust Comey, CNN, and even Vladimir Putin than your illegitimate president. There is a clear reason for these statistics; any man or woman who lies constantly cannot be trusted about anything.

Let’s go back to the election on November 8th. Trump barely won the Electoral College. A total of 78,000 votes in three states gave him the 270 needed to win. However, he lost the popular vote by three million votes. Therefore Trump’s presidency is dependent upon his base; and that is just more bad news for Donny Boy.

An average of polls rating Trump’s popularity show his approval rating at just 38.8 percent; seven points lower than on November 8th.

In 47 states, Trump’s approval rating is lower than the margin of votes he received in the election. In the three states which decided the outcome, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, his approval rating is in negative numbers. In very red state, Texas, his positive rating has dropped below 50 percent.

Trump’s base is dwindling. As he continues to fail the American people, his staunchest supporters are having doubts, and with those who simply favored Trump over Hillary, many are feeling ‘buyer’s remorse.’

And here’s the bottom line; a statistic which reveals just how unpopular Trump and his circle of sinners are with the majority. In his first six months and eight days in office, if Trump were to win only states in which his approval rating is 50 percent or higher, he would receive a total of 99 Electoral votes.

One final observation. If Obamacare is repealed and replaced or not will have a negative result for the Republican Party. More than 50 percent of Americans favor Obamacare, while less than 15 percent support Trumpcare. If Obamacare is repealed and not replaced, a movement to remove GOP politicians from power will be a ground swell from Independents, Democrats, and many Republicans.

Healthcare, more than any other issue, has proven that Republican leaders are unable to govern effectively. Trumpcare was composed in a partisan manner; without deliberation or consulting any Democrat or female Republican regarding its content. This is not how America works best, and is why Washington is now a growing cesspool of dysfunction.

Please re-post; thank you.
