Ann Coulter and her Right Wing Friends Allowed Airline Mergers and Now She’s Whining

Poor Ann Coulter. She was a victim. The problem is that she was a victim of a plan she supported. This right wing dimwit is denying the fact that Republicans have failed the American people for more than 20 years.

First of all, I must declare that I worked for an airline for 10 years when most people loved to travel by air. I was employed by ‘Bonanza Airlines’ in 1967 at Los Angeles International Airport. Bonanza was a small local airline which served four western states. Its fleet consisted of three Douglas DC-9’s and a larger number of Fairchild F-27 Turbo Engine aircraft. Initially there was no security, and the United States government controlled the process, including rules regarding fares, and other passenger related protections.

Several years later Bonanza merged with West Coast and Pacific Airlines and became ‘Air West.’ This new airline had flights to most western states, and later included flights to three cities in Mexico. During this process, congress voted to ‘deregulate’ the industry. Each airline could now charge whatever it desired to each destination. Over-booking became the norm because the repercussions were minimal. Airline personnel, such as myself, were encouraged to lie about delays and cancellations to protect the integrity of the airline involved.

When ‘skyjackings’ became frequent in the early 1970’s, airport security began. Originally walls were constructed in the boarding areas and every purse, carry-on bag, and other personal items were searched by hand.

Initially some flights were delayed by 30 minutes or less, but eventually the inconvenience was eliminated thanks to information distributed to passengers prior to their flights.

Today the TSA is nothing more than a ‘cluster f**k. ‘Republicans have encouraged horrible customer service and additional charges to consumers including baggage and unexpected changes in travel. New rules have been established which benefit the airlines and make air travel a less than pleasant experience. The approval of mergers has resulted in fewer flights, over-booking, less comfortable travel.

Now let me make it clear that I will never defend any airline in America today. I could offer personal stories which would require many pages and bore you to death. But Coulter is once again overstating her importance. There was obviously a reason why Delta Airlines gave away her requested seat. Coulter’s whining about the situation is laughable, and other passengers agreed.

Coulter ranted on twitter, in support of her fuhrer who is defiling the White House, but real Americans were not having it. They responded on twitter to her childish complaints.

Ann Coulter=”Blacks need to get over their victim mentality”
Ann Coulter has to change seats on Delta=”Oh my God, I’m being victimized!”

It doesn’t feel good to be denied entry to a place for no good reason, does it?”

Ann Coulter is having a bad day which makes my day better. Thanks Delta.”

Dozens of people are replying to Ann Coulter’s Delta complaints to ask if her broom is broken, and I salute them.”

This is why the American people must finally realize that the right wing is nothing more than an elitist group of men and women who are supported by the wealthiest of Americans, and expect special treatment. They are not ‘Americans;’ they are opportunists.

Please re-post; thank you.
