“Photographs of the inaugural proceedings were intentionally framed in a way, in one particular Tweet, to minimize the enormous support that had gathered on the National Mall,” Sean Spicer said on Jan. 21. “That was the largest audience to witness an inauguration, period. Both in person and around the globe.”
“President Donald Trump asserted in a private meeting with congressional leaders Monday night that he would have won the popular vote in the 2016 election if 3 million to 5 million immigrants living in the country illegally hadn’t voted.”
“I don’t think anybody knows it was Russia that broke into the DNC. She’s saying Russia, Russia, Russia, but I don’t — maybe it was. I mean, it could be Russia, but it could also be China. It could also be lots of other people. It also could be somebody sitting on their bed that weighs 400 pounds, okay? You don’t know who broke into DNC.”
If Donald Trump fears, or simply dislikes the truth, this is the way he attempts to divert the facts. He’s right and the rest of the world is wrong. This is not only an indication of a lack of intellect, it is also evidence of a man whose mental acuity is in question.
In a failing effort to convince himself that he won the popular vote, Trump has created a ‘voter fraud commission.’ There’s a problem. Trump has asked states to offer information which would violate the fourth amendment. This is a list of the information requested by vice-chairman Kris Kobach.
“The full first and last names of all registrants, middle names or initials if available, addresses, dates of birth, political party (if recorded in your state), last four digits of social security number if available, voter history (elections voted in) from 2006 onward, active/inactive status, canceled status, information regarding any felony convictions, information regarding voter registration in another state, information regarding military status, and overseas citizen information.”
Although 44 states have responded with a refusal to supply the information, once again we learn that Trump is in denial; he doesn’t believe the facts.
The commission’s vice-chairman, Kris Kobach, who is also Kansas’ secretary of state, called the media reports “patently false” and “fake news”
Now for my favorite part of this story; the truth. If any state reveals all of the information requested by Kobach, they will face tens of thousands of lawsuits citing violations of fourth amendment rights. This would cost each state millions of dollars in obvious decisions by the courts.
Trump has clearly resisted reading the Constitution; or maybe he wants to repeal the ‘law of the land.’ Privacy is a right cherished by all Americans, and one ignorant action by an unfit president will not remove that right.
Trump can fairly be called a ‘buffoon.’ He continues to accept alternative facts from the right wing propaganda machine, FOX Noise, but ignores the legitimate press such as the New York Times, CNN, The Guardian, etc, etc, etc. When commentators call this fact ‘not normal,’ what they should be saying is that Trump is mentally impaired, and a danger to the United States of America.
Trump’s supporters choose to be ignorant and uninformed. They will stand by the worst president in history regardless of his vile and unconstitutional actions, and his anti-American proposals. They, like their leader, are not Americans; they are not patriots. Their America is a dark and prejudiced nation, where only white, wealthy men and women are allowed to enjoy the freedoms and rights promised to all by the Constitution.
Stand up for yourself, and your loved ones. Support the Constitution and demand that the dream of our founding fathers continues beyond 241 years. Refuse to allow Trump and his hypocritical party to destroy democracy. Your vote is a ‘loaded gun’ and can take our country back for the majority of the American people.
Please re-post; thank you.
