Every true American who loves his or her country was aware that Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions should not have been confirmed as Trump’s Attorney General. He is a white supremacist, and unqualified to hold such an important position in our government. Trump nominated him as a “thank you” for his support during the campaign, and his alleged assistance in helping the Russians interfere in our election. Not only is Sessions bad for our nation, his failures within the Justice Department have now angered his boss.
Trump is beginning to blame others for his many mistakes involving the escalating investigation into the election. He is upset that Sessions recused himself from the firing of former FBI Director James Comey. At the same time, he is ignoring the truth; Trump fired Comey because son-in-law Jared Kushner advised him to do so. This one event has become the impetus for the investigation’s rapid growth.
Sessions is additional proof that Trump is unable to make good decisions. Sadly, his cabinet and closest advisers are all a disaster. Betsy DeVos, Steven Mnuchin, Rex Tillerson, Scott Pruitt, Wilbur Ross, Ben Carson, and others have proven to be failures to our nation and our people.
Monday Trump criticized the Justice Department in the only way he knows for his failure to establish a Muslim ban; tweets.
“The Justice Dept. should have stayed with the original Travel Ban, not the watered down, politically correct version they submitted to S.C.”
This began a series where he adamantly denounced his own Justice Department. Is Trump throwing another temper tantrum, or is he attempting to redirect the blame for his own mistakes? Although Trump demands unwavering loyalty from his staff and advisers, he fails to reciprocate. Trump is a ‘wannabee’ autocrat. He believes that he can conduct his presidency in the same manner he conducted business by acting like a bully.
Trump’s weak temperament and huge ego are the primary reasons why he is unfit to be the President of the United States. He has already been shunned by the world’s leaders and has been rejected as the leader of the free world. Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand look to German Chancellor Angela Merkel, and French President Emmanuel Macron to lead the people of the free world.
Sixty percent of the American people do not trust Trump, and fail to accept him as their legitimate president.
Sessions was a mistake on so many levels. Both the American people and Trump are paying the price for an extremely rash and poor decision. We can only hope that Trump will remove Sessions from his position before he himself is removed.
Please re-post; thank you.
