Trump’s biggest supporters are in the Texas state legislature. Republicans have proven themselves to align perfectly with their new leader in Washington. They have passed laws based on their beliefs in white supremacy, misogyny, Islamophobia, homophobia, and hypocritical Christian fanaticism.
After the illegitimate win of Trump last November, Republicans in Texas obviously became emboldened. They passed additional legislation affecting homosexuals, blacks, Hispanics, and Muslims. All of it is by definition unconstitutional, but they obviously believe that somehow Trump will support them.
Trump and Texas fit perfectly. The Republican controlled government of the Lone Star state is trying very hard to become the most bigoted state in the union, but Alabama always keeps a step ahead of them.
I sincerely believe that when Trump is impeached, he should be exiled to Texas; New York won’t want him. Then let’s help the legislature re-introduce their attempt to secede from the United States of America. We don’t need them, and they can elect Trump as their next governor. We would also rid ourselves of two traitorous Senators; Ted Cruz and John Cornyn. This would put America on a path to becoming a great nation.
If this sounds like I’m ‘Republican bashing,’ I am. They do not believe in the America which raised me and they certainly don’t believe in the Constitution. They claim to be Christians, but have one god; money. Their support of the one-percent is revolting and has forced an income inequality which has divided our nation beyond repair for years to come.
Only a sincere effort by millennials will force these old, white, prejudiced men out of office and save America. My generation has caused great harm to the dreams of Jefferson, Franklin, Madison, Washington and others. As a group, we have not accepted the fact that ‘all men are created equal, and have certain inalienable rights.’ In a truly free; a truly ‘great’ nation, there is no room for racism, bigotry, or prejudice of any kind. These evils demonstrate ignorance, and ignorance will never be associated with ‘greatness.’
