Is Trump sensing the end of his illegitimate presidency? The events of a single week would force any normal and wise man to resign from his position. But this is not a normal presidency, and Trump is not a normal man.
I have frequently discussed what I and dozens of psychiatrists have determined to be severe mental instability. Sources from the White House have described Trump’s current mood as “sour and dark.” Three serious mistakes made by an inexperienced and unqualified Donald Trump have resulted in suspicion and many unanswered questions from both sides of the aisle.
Last Tuesday Trump suddenly fired FBI Director, James Comey. Then he admitted that his primary reason was an escalating investigation into Trump’s relationships with Russia; interference with the election, and laundering funds for Russian Oligarchs.
On Wednesday, under orders from Vladimir Putin, Trump invited Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, and Ambassador/Spy, Sergey Kislyak to the Oval Office for a meeting. The American press was banned from the event, although the Russian News Agency, TASS, was present. During this meeting, he divulged top secret information to the Russians, delivered to the United States by Israel.
On Monday, a memo from former FBI Director, James Comey, was discovered at FBI headquarters. In the memo it was revealed that Comey was asked by Trump to halt the investigation of former national security director Michael Flynn. A clear violation of laws preventing an ‘obstruction of justice.’
Today Trump has labeled his White House staff as “incompetent,” including his ‘prodigal’ son-in-law, Jared Kushner.
Trump has self-destructed; and he has harmed himself in his most vulnerable area; his ego. Bragging is a defense mechanism by men and women who know that they are inferior, and lack certain capabilities. Trump is a charlatan. His claims regarding his intelligence and his ability to ‘solve everything,’ are far from factual.
Trump has displayed not only a lack of morality, but is also lacking in the ability to make sound judgments. His belief that he is omnipotent, and infallible have omitted the need for advice from those more knowledgeable than himself.
Trumps misdeeds and failures have created a “White House in turmoil.” Monday, after the revelation of Trump’s request that Comey halt Flynn’s investigation, his communications staff was overheard screaming at each other. Sean Spicer, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, and Steve Bannon were overheard by the White House press corps shouting obscenities at each other.
Chief of Staff, Reince Priebus has ordered all of the White House staff to show him all information before it is placed on Trump’s desk or his TV tray as he watches FOX Noise. Trump’s mental state appears to have become even more fragile.
Trump has denied every fact about his illegitimate presidency, a la Richard Nixon. The truth always rises above lies, and the more lies, the more devastating the facts become.
From my mouth to God’s ears; I hope this is the beginning of the end of our national nightmare.
