The press was not allowed in the Oval Office Wednesday when Trump was present. The only cameras present were the official White House photographer and the official Russian news service. Trump was hiding his meeting with the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Russia’s ambassador to the US.
The press was present when Lavrov met with Rex Tillerson, the part-time Secretary of State. As the two men were leaving, a reporter asked about the firing of FBI Director James Comey. Lavrov made fun of Comey and the press by saying “Was he Fired?” Followed by: “you’re kidding; you’re kidding.” This must have really upset Trump because my interpretation is that the Russians were involved in the decision to remove Comey from his post.
Let’s take a close look at the implications of the fact about Trump and his campaign staff colluding with Vladimir Putin and his spies to interfere in the election.
If the outcome proved that Trump himself was part of the conspiracy, this presents immediate grounds for impeachment. The crime is treason. If he knew about collusion between Flynn, Sessions, Stone, or others, and failed to inform the proper authorities, he would still be impeached, but he would receive a lesser charge; likely ‘aiding and abetting.’
In addition, the relationship between Putin’s Russia and the United States would suffer irreparable damage.
The circumstantial evidence is enormous. When Trump fired Comey by “television” Tuesday, it is now a proven fact that it was a desperate measure to slow or halt the investigation. Meeting with high-level Russian officials the very next day adds additional suspicion, and raises many questions. The first one I had was: “Is Trump not hiding the facts any longer? Is he admitting that he is in close contact with Putin on a daily basis?”
Of course Trumps ‘professional liars’ denounced the publication of pictures depicting Trump and Lavrov in a warm handshake, and huge smiles.
“They tricked us,” an angry White House official said.
“That’s the problem with the Russians — they lie,” the official added.
Trust me; that was just another smokescreen. The plan was complete, and Trump knew the truth. His loyalties are not to the American people.
“Lock him up; lock him up.” He has defiled the White House for far too long, and every day he sleeps in the private residence adds more time necessary for fumigation when he is evicted.
