“Never Trust a Man who Doesn’t Drink”

This title comes from a plaque I gave my Mormon brother years ago. Of course it was a joke. However, if I apply the line to Donald Trump, it has meaning.

Trump claims that ‘his lips have never touched alcohol.’ But if you notice, he never said that he did not do drugs. I am positive that he takes at least one medication to control what must be very high blood pressure. His face turns from orange to red to orange very frequently. If you listen to the Donald Trump of 30 years ago, he is far less mean-spirited. Was he taking mind altering drugs, and today are we experiencing the ‘real’ Donald J. Trump?

Regardless, along with most other Americans and people around the world, I do not trust him. I cannot believe a single word that comes out of his mouth.

Hasan Minhaj hosted the Correspondence Dinner at the White House last evening. He is a correspondent on the ‘Daily Show.’ He had excellent material, but one line in particular I found not only amusing but also accurate.

You know, a lot of people told me, ‘Hasan, if you go after the administration, it would be petty, unfair and childish.’ In other words, presidential, so here we go.”

It’s fair to make fun of a president who has no sense of humor himself. Any man who is unable to laugh at himself, is frightening and most definitely mentally challenged. Human beings are funny because we are not perfect; but don’t try and tell Trump that fact.

While he continues to live a life of luxury at taxpayer expense, Trump sadly has but two interests; watching cable television, and playing golf. Fitting for a dirty old man.

During his eight years in office, President Obama was known as the ‘headliner’ at this event. He is extremely intelligent, and I have found that truly intelligent people always have a great sense of humor.

Sorry Donnie boy; strike three, and you should be out; but you play by a different set of rules.
