Trump’s Standard Was Set Historically Low: Hillary Was Expected To Be Perfect

The media, especially the television networks ‘fake-news’ broadcasts, love Donald Trump. Their ratings remain high thanks to their assistance in the November election. They are happy that America has the worst president in our nation’s history, and the most ignorant.

Now that they have their illegitimate president, the ‘unique’ quality which was Trump is fading. He made many, many promises to his supporters, and has failed miserably. Is this what the media expected? They virtually offered him a free pass during the campaign, while describing Hillary as “unlikable,” and “untrustworthy.” Trump was allowed to say anything, including his belief in white nationalism, bigotry, and Islamophobia; and there was no expression of shock. When the “Access Hollywood” tapes were revealed, the media virtually ignored the fact that we could have a sexual predator living in the White House.

Today Trump has been in office for 100 days; 100 days of failure. Trump has signed only a single piece of significant legislation, and that was on his 99th day. He signed a bill which will fund the government for one more week.

The American people have learned a lot in 100 days; what many of us knew on November 8th. Trump has no idea about how to govern. What has been a surprise is that no one in the Republican Party has the ability to govern effectively. Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell are complete failures.

The fourth estate must cease their policy of ‘profit before people,’ and demand more. Their primary purpose is to expose dishonesty and corruption in Washington, and they are failing miserably.

If Hillary Clinton was sitting behind the desk in the Oval Office, the media would criticize every minor glitch. But Trump’s hundreds of indiscretions in 100 days have been accepted. His lack of qualifications and intellect have given the media an excuse to let his mistakes become the new normal.

I will never allow a white supremacist and a sexual predator to become acceptable. He will never be my president, and he should not be yours.

We cannot accept constant lying from our nation’s leader. He must be held accountable. He must be removed by any means from his residence in the White House.

Lock him up; lock him up.”
