How Can We Rescue Melania?

An article in Vanity Fair describes Melania Trump as an unwilling First Lady. Before the election, she was described by other parents at Barron’s school as “thin, tired and sad.” She was afraid that Trump would actually win the election. I also believe that the revelation of the tapes when her husband proved himself to be a philanderer, and a pervert were extremely distressing.

Melania seemed to do her best to ignore the new reality, on the grounds that she wanted to be home for Barron,” Vanity Fair’s Evgenia Peretz wrote. “Over the course of Trump’s 17-month campaign, she rarely joined her husband at rallies, and the speeches she gave could be counted on one hand.”

So what can we do? From Trump’s weekend trips to Mar-a-Lago instead of New York to join his wife and son, it’s obvious that theirs is a ‘marriage in name only.’ The problem is that Melania and Barron’s stay in New York is costing taxpayers nearly one-million dollars each day.

With a nearly 30 year age difference, and the fact that Trump is between 60 and 80 pounds overweight, which classifies him as obese, why would she want to be with him rather than stay in New York.

I’m certain that being the First Lady is difficult. This asks two questions. Did Trump discuss his ambitions with Melania? Secondly, is he even more selfish than I previously believed and has no concern the the well-being of his wife and 10-year-old son?

Adele needs to write a song about ‘Melania the prisoner in the golden tower.’
