Every time Trump opens his mouth we can expect a lie to emerge. This has become standard operating procedure for the man who is infesting the White House. But there are reasons for his constant fabrication of “alternative facts.” He is very afraid of the truth; his fragile ego is in danger if the facts are revealed; and Trump is paranoid as proven by his constant fallacious claim regarding illegal surveillance. He must be forced to take a psychiatric exam.
When anyone complains about a single issue almost constantly, especially when in denial, the truth eventually rises to the light of day. Trump knows that if all of the facts are revealed regarding his association with Vladimir Putin and other Russian oligarchs, his opportunity for using taxpayer money to support his outrageous lifestyle will come to an end.
The fact that he and his campaign staff colluded during the campaign is enough to impeach him, but when everyone learns how he laundered money for the oligarchs through real estate purchases, he could face time in a federal prison.
“When will Sleepy Eyes Chuck Todd and @NBCNews start talking about the Obama SURVEILLANCE SCANDAL and stop with the Fake Trump/Russia story?” Trump tweeted just before 9 a.m.
“It is the same Fake News Media that said there is ‘no path to a victory for Trump’ that is now pushing the phony Russia story. A total scam!” he added shortly after.
I always find it interesting that Trump calls every legitimate news service “fake news,” while he sits around the White House watching the right wing propaganda machine, FOX Noise, or listening to conspiracy theorist, Alex Jones on “InfoWars.”
It does bother me that we have an illegitimate president who has no class, and is so deathly afraid of the truth. Telling lies and tweeting “alternative facts” is not presidential. He is simply acting like a bitter, dirty old man who is unhappy. His past crimes are haunting him, and he will soon be forced to face reality.
Trump has already escaped one criminal prosecution by paying off his opponents with the sum of $25 million. He is committing ethics violations daily by continuing his personal involvement with his international business interests. Will he escape prosecution for those as well?
When Trump rants endlessly about an issue, we know the truth without an investigation. His fallacious claims about the size of his inaugural crowd; his false claim that three million votes were cast illegally; and his crude and vicious claim that his predecessor, and a real working president, wiretapped his phones, all proved that he refuses to accept the truth.
Although the Senate Intelligence Committee is holding hearings with the sole purpose of investigating Trump’s Russia connections, do not forget that investigative reporters who work for many of the organizations Trump calls ‘fake news,’ are continuing their own investigations.
Today is “Fire the Fool” day; and it cannot happen soon enough.
