FOX Noise can be blamed for almost everything which is bad about the media today. They began the downfall of the once respected ‘fourth estate.’ It’s bad enough that they became the Republican Party’s, (now known as the Party of Destruction), propaganda machine, and filled the airways with lies, half-truths, and innuendos, its focus on ratings rather than the truth paved the way for legitimate news networks to change their approach.
During the 2016 campaign season I was saddened to watch once respected newsmen such as Charlie Rose hold Hillary Clinton to an unfair standard while giving Trump and his cronies a free pass. I no longer watch any television news; I expect the truth, and it is not forthcoming from any major network.
After Trump became our illegitimate president, the media and members of the Party of Destruction attempted to convince the American people that we must accept Trump as our president; it ain’t gonna happen.
Along with the majority of Americans, FOX is aware that a Trump presidency is far worse than anyone imagined. That doesn’t keep them from brazen attempts to maintain ratings.
Trump’s fallacious claim that President Obama wiretapped Trump Tower was debunked by every security agency, and members of both parties. Trump refused to accept facts, (no surprise here), and maintained that he was right and everyone else was wrong.
About two weeks ago, FOX analyst, Andrew Napolitano, was suspended. He supported an additional claim by Trump that British intelligence aided President Obama with his surveillance.
It was obvious that this was meaningless. More than a year ago, Brian Williams was suspended from NBC because he exaggerated a story. During the same time period, Bill O’Reilly was proven to have falsified basically every story in every one of his books and the stories he told on his nightly broadcast. O’Reilly received no punishment for his blatant falsehoods. Therefore, it should be of no surprise to the American people that Napolitano is back on FOX, spreading additional lies.
Napolitano renewed his allegations, claiming three sources, but he refused to name one. Asking if he believed them entirely truthful, he said the following.
“Yes, I do, and the sources stand by it,” Napolitano told Hemmer on Wednesday. “And the American public needs to know more about this rather than less because a lot of the government surveillance authorities will expire in the fall and there’ll be a great debate about how much authority we want the government to have to surveil us. And the more the American public knows about this, the more informed their and Congress’s decisions will be.”
FOX would not exist if it was forced to report the facts. Its ratings would diminish, and its personalities would return to flipping hamburgers at McDonald’s, or spraying perfume on innocent consumers at Bloomingdale’s.
I often believe that our nations entire government is built on lies. I no longer trust anyone in Washington. Trump has forced change in our government; he replaced a swamp with an even larger cesspool.
But he has given the American people one fact; we are all aware that the Party of Destruction is composed of liars and hypocrites. None of them can be trusted.
The situation at FOX is not a surprise. The truth is not a concern; making money is its only priority.
The only thing O’Reilly, Hannity, and Megyn Kelly have accomplished is to divide our nation, and harm the future of a once respected country.
If you enjoy being brainwashed, continue to believe FOX and its failed fake-journalists.
