America learned a great deal about the character and morals of many men and women during the 2016 campaign season. Trump was revealed as a white supremacist, a bigot, and a sexual predator. Kellyanne Conway couldn’t find the truth with both hands. Mike Pence and Ted Cruz share terminal religious extremism and homophobia. Marco Rubio revealed his lack of intellect, and his poor work ethic. Chris Christie is void of ethics and morals. Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan are hypocrites and failed leaders in their party. Saving the worst for last, Rudy Giuliani proved himself to be a liar, a purveyor of hatred, and a bad “warm-up” for Trump. Now we learn that he is also a criminal.
The United States Attorney’s Office stated that Giuliani traveled to to meet with Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan on behalf of his client Reza Zarrab—a Turkish gold trader jailed on federal charges of conspiring to violate U.S. sanctions on Iran.”
Is this just another case of a Republican’s corrupt actions for personal gain, or is it more sinister?
Giuliani is an opportunist, who was desperate to become a part of Trump’s administration. He has been ignored by the man he worships.
This is another example of why I have labeled Trump’s cronies his ‘circle of sinners.’ I’m sure that we are just beginning to learn more about those who Trump chose to come to Washington.
