Who is Trump? The best way to describe him is to compare him to the ‘front man’ in an infomercial. When he’s not partying at Mar-a-Lago, or holding 2020 campaign rallies, he’s watching cable television, or listening to Alex Jones. Meanwhile, white supremacist Steve Bannon is sitting behind the desk in the Oval Office.
One other activity in which Trump engages, is running his business empire. In direct violation of ethics rules, he continues to oversee the daily activities of multiple interests, both internationally and domestically. Conducting business with any foreign nation while holding the office of President of the United States is a criminal offense.
Trump falsely claimed that he had divested himself from his business. In a “shocking” revelation, Trump lied! Donald Jr. and Eric are receiving instructions from their father on a daily basis.
Eric admitted that he does discuss “the bottom line, profitability reports and stuff like that, but you know, that’s about it” with his father. When asked about the regularity with which he does so, Eric said, “depending, yeah, depending,” before clarifying (after being asked whether it might be quarterly), “yeah, probably quarterly.” Really?
If the president was Bill Clinton or Barrack Obama, Republican politicians, Rush Limbaugh, FOX Noise, Alex Jones, Laura Ingraham, and others would be demanding that impeachment proceedings begin immediately. But once again Republicans are allowed to be corrupt; it’s acceptable.
For the last 20+ years there has been a double standard in Washington. Democrats are held to a high moral standard, while Republicans are allowed to conduct business in a cesspool.
Trump’s proven collusion with Vladimir Putin, his criminal actions by violating the rules of ethics, and his continuous efforts to violate the Constitution make him totally unfit to live in the White House. Time for him to go. In 65 days he has attempted to destroy everything we label “American.”
Just say “hell no” to Trump.
