Trump Spent His Day Tweeting About ‘Russia Hearings,’ and Failing to Do His Job

FBI

Okay, there can be no more denial that Steve Bannon is the man who sits behind the desk in the Oval Office most of the time. Trump watches television. As evidenced by his fallacious tweets yesterday, he spent a part of his day watching the hearings regarding Russian interference in our election. Trump has no interest in becoming a ‘working president.’ He loves the attention from rallies to soothe his fragile ego, but the ‘job’ is much too difficult for a man who has never worked.

Here are the tweets he sent during the hearings. Spoiler alert; none of them are accurate.

The NSA and FBI tell Congress that Russia did not influence electoral process.”

“FBI Director Comey refuses to deny he briefed President Obama on calls made by Michael Flynn to Russia.”

“FBI Director Comey: fmr. DNI Clapper ‘right’ to say no evidence of collusion between Russia and Trump Campaign.”

Neither agency confirmed that there was no evidence that Russia influenced the outcome of the election. Quite the opposite; there is an ongoing investigation.

Comey said that it was not the FBI’s responsibility to investigate the Michael Flynn situation; this is the area of expertise belonging to other agencies.

Finally, there was no evidence of Russian interference known to Clapper, but that time period was irrelevant to the current investigation.

Trump hates the truth, and he obviously dislikes being the president. Next weekend when he wastes another 3 to 4 million taxpayer dollars traveling to Mar-a-Lago, he should do the American people a favor and stay there.
