Joni Ernst: Hypocrite and Anti-Feminist

Ernst

Similar to dozens of other Republicans, Iowa Senator Joni Ernst faced an angry crowd at a town hall meeting intended to address veterans. She was shocked to see an overcrowded room who demanded that she actually act like a United States Senator. Their complaints were many but Ernst maintained her support for Trump’s agenda. One of the most angry exchanges occurred when the appointment of Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos arose. DeVos is a multi-billionaire, whose only prior association with politics was as a large donor to Republican candidates. She knows absolutely nothing about the educational system, and her goal is to eliminate public schools and force America’s children into private Christian schools.

Ernst faced similar chants endured by other Republican hypocrites; “do your job.”

This is the one thing Republicans refuse to do; represent the American people. Special interests have taken precedence over 320 million people for the last 20 years.

Ernst took office in 2015. Her tenure has been unremarkable with the exception of voting against every issue relating to women. Many of us have raised the question of her true sexuality. She votes for men, and denies women equal rights and protection under the law. Her politics are closely aligned with the most hated man in Washington; Ted Cruz.

Three of the worst legislators in our nation are from Iowa; Ernst, Chuck Grassley, and Steve King. The former two are senators who place their Christianity above the Constitution, and King is America’s most vocal racist. It was reported today that the consequence of King’s most recent statements is a decrease in tourism for the Corn State.

Take note, my fellow Americans, we cannot wait until 2020. The 2018 midterm elections will soon be here. We have an opportunity to take our country back. All 435 seats in the House are up for reelection, and one-third of the Senate. Sadly Ernst is not up for reelection until 2020. We can take control of the House and Senate in a single election. It will require a record turnout. Become active. Vote, but also encourage your family, friends and neighbors to go to the polls in November of 2018.

Please re-post; thank you.
