Okay, Sean Spicer may be the worst press secretary in history, but we cannot let Trump fire him. His lies are so egregious that he is comical. His temperament is as weak as that of his boss, and his temper tantrums are hilarious. Everyone knows that they will not hear the truth, and any questions will not receive complete and honest answers.
But the main reason Trump must not fire him has nothing to do with Spicer’s bulls**t. It’s because I want to see Melissa McCarthy impersonate him on Saturday Night Live frequently. Her bit may be the funniest thing I have ever seen on television. It is exaggerated, but also factual.
Trump and his circle of sinners are simply a farce. No intelligent man or woman can accept Trump as presidential. It is impossible to believe that a religious extremist who is afflicted with the greatest case of homophobia in the nation is his vice-president. Can anyone believe that Trump chose a white supremacist, who is also Islamophobic, a misogynist, and anti-Semitic as his chief adviser and strategist? It’s just too funny that his Secretary of Education has never stepped foot in a public school. When Trump chose a man to run the Environmental Protection Agency who is engaged in three lawsuits against the EPA, I laughed for what seemed like forever. Then there’s his nominee for Secretary of Labor. He admits that he hates his employees and would like to replace them with robots. And of course there is his Attorney General who most likely has a white, hooded uniform in his closet in the most racist state in the union; Alabama.
America needs Sean Spicer; we need more laughs. Trump has placed the nation in a foul mood, and we all need a respite.
