Trump didn’t really want to be the president; he just wanted to win. This is everything to our “Egomaniac-in-Chief.” Trump cares about nothing, other than satisfying his fragile ego. The actual reason Trump lies 100 percent of the time, is his need to be right about every issue; although facts prove he is wrong about everything.
A week ago last Sunday, Trump authorized a raid into Yemen. The target was an Al Qaeda compound which intelligence experts believed harbored laptops, computers, and other information valuable to the war on terrorism. The operation had been in the planning stages for months. The reason it was not executed prior to Trump’s inauguration was a single stipulation; it was to take place on a “moonless night.”
The only correct procedure for a president’s final authorization of such an operation is paramount to a mission’s success. The president, vice president, Secretary of State, and the Secretary of Defense are joined by Military and Intelligence hierarchy who gather in the White House Situation Room to cement the final details. When a consensus is reached, the final word to begin the operation is given by the president. When a live feed is available, this group tensely views the event; hoping that their decision was correct.
That’s not what occurred with the raid into Yemen.
When everything was in readiness, Trump was at dinner. Dining with him were his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, and white supremacist, Steve Bannon. Trump approved the attack.
The result was, by all accounts, a disaster.
A firefight erupted, and at least one child and several women were killed. One American, a Navy Seal, was killed, and three were wounded. Experts called the mission a failure.
John McCain criticized your illegitimate president for the disaster. However, we know that Trump refuses to accept responsibility for any of his numerous mistakes. The truth is just the opposite; he brags about everything, although he was never involved in most situations.
Trump said that McCain “doesn’t know how to win anymore” and shouldn’t have called a U.S. raid in Yemen a failure.
He lied to the American people; claiming that it was a success.
“Sen. McCain should not be talking about the success or failure of a mission to the media. Only emboldens the enemy! He’s been losing so long he doesn’t know how to win anymore,” Trump wrote in a series of tweets Thursday morning. “Just look at the mess our country is in – bogged down in conflict all over the place. Our hero Ryan died on a winning mission ( according to General Mattis), not a ‘failure.’ Time for the U.S. to get smart and start winning again!”
I’m sorry, Trump, you are the ‘biggest loser’ in American history. You even lost the election. Hillary soundly defeated you by nearly three million votes. You can’t handle the truth; nothing is ever your fault.
This lack of ethics, veracity, and any sense of responsibility is the new standard for Trump and his circle of sinners. Get used to it, but do not accept it.
I believe that McCain has outlived his usefulness, but when he’s right, he must be recognized. Trump fails to have a single clue about governing or how our military operates. He is dangerous; a threat not only to our nation, but to the world.
