Trump has been in office just two weeks today, and 40 percent of all American voters believe that he should be impeached. There are grounds for such action. He has violated the Constitution constantly, and bypassed congress and the will of the American people with rash executive orders.
Everything about Trump is ‘unusual,’ but not in a good way. He has broken with nearly every precedent set by past presidents in the last 240 years, and acts more like a dictator than an American president. He has received his orders from Putin for nearly six years, and from Mercer for nearly one. His actions as the nation’s illegitimate president parallel his business practices. He is known as a con-artist, a thief, and a man without scruples. Who knew? Everyone, but those who made the serious mistake of electing him.
“The Constitution gives the House of Representatives the right to impeach the president. Impeachment means that a charge of misconduct is filed against the president. A majority of the members of the House must vote for these charges in order to impeach the president.”
Therefore, it will never happen. The corrupt House of Representatives, dominated by Republicans, will never do what is right; they would rather murder thousands of Americans by repealing the Affordable Care Act.
We, the people can remove Trump from office. There are 435 Representatives, and 320 million of us. We are the country. The United States of America is us; not them. Become an activist and join the revolution. GOP politicians will never do the right thing; their party comes first. They fail to serve the majority; they are bought and paid for by special interests.
“Usually a newly elected president is at the peak of their popularity and enjoying their honeymoon after taking office,” PPP President Dean Debnam said in a statement.
Protests continue across the United States. Republican states are attempting to curtail the outrage aimed at Trump by enacting laws in direct violation of the first amendment.
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”
Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-Texas) on Wednesday said Congress should mull impeaching Trump if he orders federal agencies to ignore a judge’s ruling halting parts of that order.
“There should be a resolution, of course, and if he does it again there should be articles of impeachment.”
I am a patriotic and proud American. I owe my allegiance to the people of our nation; not to our government, and never to “Trumpenstein.”
