Trump is all about lies, he hates the truth and facts simply confuse him. He refuses to admit the truth, even when 99.99 percent of the people in the world acknowledge facts. One of his favorite lies is that more than three million people voted illegally in November. Isn’t a bit strange that three million is the number which crushed him in the popular vote. He is not the people’s president; he was gifted the White House by the Electoral College after interference by three entities.
America now has a name for Trump’s penchant for lying; “alternative facts.” It appears that the press corps will be inundated with this tactic, and the American people will not know what is happening in their government. Fake news will become our only news.
The media can only blame themselves. Throughout the 2016 campaign they gave Trump a free pass and allowed him and his cronies to refuse to answer the tough questions; Hillary was not so lucky.
Trump’s ignorance makes him exceptionally dangerous. His megalomania, combined with his obvious paranoia, will force him to take drastic action which will fail the American people.
Take his claim that three million votes were cast illegally. Will he institute voter ID laws already deemed unconstitutional by the Supreme Court? He will surely nominate someone even worse than Scalia for the vacant seat and cause great harm to the majority of our nation’s people.
What is even more frightening is that hypocritical Republicans are bowing to their fuhrer, and refuse to denounce his un-American proposals. Fascism is on the rise, and the working class will soon find themselves in a position of servitude.
Democracy suffered an ugly death last November 8th, and it will never return unless the people take it back. Proudly join the courageous women who flooded the world’s streets last Saturday, and enlist in the second revolution. We are the nation; our government must once again serve us or be replaced.
“We the people are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution.” Abraham Lincoln
“This country, with its institutions, belongs to the people who inhabit it. Whenever they shall grow weary of the existing government, they can exercise their constitutional right of amending it, or exercise their revolutionary right to overthrow it.” Abraham Lincoln
Mr. Lincoln was a great President, and a Republican; there is no resemblance between him and today’s RINO’s.
It’s time to heed Lincoln’s words and make Washington remember that they are but insignificant insects in our America. We, the people are all powerful, and they must either serve us or get out.
