“We can’t let this happen. We should march on Washington and stop this travesty. Our nation is totally divided!” “Lets fight like hell and stop this great and disgusting injustice! The world is laughing at us.” “This election is a total sham and a travesty. We are not a democracy!” “Our country is now in serious and unprecedented trouble…like never before.” “The electoral college is a disaster for a democracy.”
These are all tweets from the election; from the 2012 election and authored by Donald J. Trump, your illegitimate president-elect. Probably the one I found the most truth in, as it relates to 2017, is “The world is laughing at us.” Only the truth is that they don’t find Trump humorous, they find him dangerous.
While Trump enhances his ‘bromance’ with Vladimir Putin, other nations are experiencing fear that the ‘orange man’ and his circle of sinners will destabilize the world. Germans are angry, China is furious, the leaders of NATO are deeply concerned, and the Eruopean Union feels insecurity related to an American president who has no intellect and no experience in goverment.
Trump attacked German Chancellor Angela Merkel for allowing large numbers of Syrian immigrants into her nation. Her terse response indicated that Trump may not know what he is doing, but Europe does.
China is denouncing Trump’s moronic claim that Taiwan must receive autonomy from mainland China. China determined that there is only ‘one China,’ and refuses to consider an alternative. Trump is not aware of the fact that he cannot use his fascist ideas in an effort to control other nations. Europe has expressed deep concerns regarding trade and nuclear proliferation. Trump talks a lot; tweets even more; but has nothing to say. The lack of concrete information eminating from Trump and his circle of sinners is alarming.
Trump’s tweets from 2012 definitely apply to the 2016 election. They certainly do not apply to one of the greatest presidents in the modern era. President Obama rescued our nation from financial destruction caused by a Republican president’s failed policies, and fought for the rights of the majority as he challenged a Republican congress’ love affair with special interests.
