Trump Says “People Love Me:” Is That the Truth?

More than two months after the election, Donald Trump has become one of the most hated and distrusted people in America. His inability to communicate coherently and comprehensively with the American people is a serious problem. That fact, combined with his complete lack of morality and extremely weak temperament has distanced him from the vast majority of the American people.

Trump claims that people love him and that he received a mandate in the election; both are lies. Both the favorability an unfavorability ratings of the last four presidents reveal the fact that Trump is the least liked president-elect in history.

A recent Gallup poll shows that Trump is unfavorable to 55 percent of the American people, while only 40 percent found him favorable. During this same time period in 2009, President Obama enjoyed a 78 percent favorable rating. Even among Republican loyalists, Trump has only an 82 percent favorable rating compared to Bush 43 with 97 percent. Democrats Clinton and Obama scored 92 and 95 with their constituency.

I think that within the next couple of months, actions by Trump and his circle of sinners, combined with many protests, will result in his approval falling even more.

With a rise in hate crimes since his election, and therefore the creation of fear within the black, Hispanic, Muslim, and LGBT communities, Trump will never be accepted by the majority of the American people.

Finally, Mr. Trump, I am pleased to inform you that people don’t love you, they don’t even like you. Some misinformed supporters accept him, but I doubt that they could have positive feelings about a man who has no morals and no patriotism.
