Here is what really happened on November 8th. First of all, we lost our democracy, and our future. The America which nurtured me no longer exists. Secondly, our nation is forever divided; the rift will never be repaired. Most of our nation remains supportive of the Constitution, and nearly half supports racism and bigotry. This is an undeniable fact.
Donald Trump is a white supremacist, a womanizer, and, like Bill Cosby, a sexual predator; and he will be living in the White House on January 20th.
Trump’s enormous ego will not allow him to accept responsibility for his actions. His efforts to incite hatred divided America long before the election, but he fails to see the truth.
When Time magazine recently named him “Person of the Year,” it was not a compliment.
The headline on the cover read; “President of the Divided States of America.” The truth hurts, but only if you accept it; Trump did not.
On the “Today” show, Trump continued his penchant for lying. “When you say divided states of America, I didn’t divide them; they’re divided now.” He added: “I think putting them divided is ‘snarky,’ but again, it divided. I’m not president yet, so I didn’t do anything to divide.”
Other than the his lack of ability to speak coherently, he is obviously in denial. He wants to believe that he received a mandate from the American people, but the truth is that only 35 percent of our nation’s people believe that he will be a good president, and more than half will never accept him as our legitimate president. Hillary won the vote of the people.
Trump has already proven that he is a fascist and will lead our nation backwards into its prejudiced and evil past.
Under a Trump regime, our nation will remain divided more severely than at any other time since the Civil War.
