Trump Just Doesn’t Get It and Never Will

anti-trump-hat

When Donald Trump declared his candidacy for the presidency, I, and thousands of others who write about politics laughed. Here was a man who had never served in government on any level, and knew nothing about the internal workings of our nation, stating that he wanted to be the leader of the free world. A man who has failed at his business ventures multiple times, openly stated that he had committed criminal actions by bribing elected officials, and had objectified women constantly, actually believe that he was worthy to live in the White House?

Today the joke’s on those who voted for the buffoon. These men and women proved that they hate our nation, and have no interest in the future of their own families.

It is the responsibility of the President of the United States to understand everything which involves our nation’s relationship with all other nations in the world. Trump doesn’t understand any of this, and never will. He fails to have the intellect or interest in what the leader of our nation is required to accomplish every day he or she is in office.

Trump is once again outraged. He should direct that ire at himself for continuously making serious mistakes simply because his ego and weak temperament will not allow him to accept either advice or criticism.

His most egregious mistake, to date, was his phone call with the president of Taiwan. Trump is not a student of history, that has been proven over and over again. If he had any knowledge about anything related to our nation’s past, present, or future, he would direct his anger at himself for making a major faux pas.

Failing to understand what being the president means, Trump sent out another tweet displaying his ignorance.

Interesting how the U.S. sells Taiwan billions of dollars of military equipment but I should not accept a congratulatory call.”

To say that Trump is a danger to our nation and the world is a huge understatement. He is a tragedy, and this is before he moves his golden bidet into the White House.

However, I don’t blame Trump; I blame the millions of ignorant and uninformed voters who cast their ballots for an immoral and ignorant man. The Presidency of the United States is not a job which invites on-the-job training. Our nation’s leader must be ready before January 20th to take the baton from his predecessor and face the daily challenges of the hardest job in the world. So, what is Trump doing to prepare? He’s holding rallies on a “victory tour;” but only in states which supported him.

Trump cannot rely on his selection of his “circle of sinners;” none of them are qualified to be in public office. Their own ambitions supersede their duties to our nation.

I am not a “fear monger,” but I am very afraid for my nation. It is in great peril under a Trump administration. One day after his inauguration the Constitution will be in shreds, and rioting is likely to begin in our city’s streets.

Fascism has arrived in America; “it is carrying a cross and waving a flag.” Hypocrisy and falsehoods abound.

Trump has constantly criticized President Obama, but in 25 days he has committed more serious mistakes than our real President did in eight years. Mike Pence claims that he places his Christian faith ahead of everything else in the world. He lies. If he truly believed in his own words, he could not support such an immoral man as Trump. You can’t have it both ways.

Sadly, for the American people, when Trump and his “circle of sinners” realize that they are completely unqualified to hold their positions, severe damage will already have been inflicted upon our nation.

If you voted for him; you’ve got him, and you have no right to complain.

Please re-post; and thank you.
