One of the first things Trump promised his supporters was that he would build a wall between Mexico and the United States. It was a stupid and wasteful idea, and remains so. But, we must consider who said it.
Texas Republican Representative and traitor, Louie Gohmert, claims that the money is available to build the wall. At least he admits that Mexico won’t be paying for this ridiculous plan.
The wall would be a waste of time and money, and it would fail. Someone needs to tell Trump that this is the 21st century, not the 15th. Physical structures are all flawed. Most importantly, if our nation has hundreds of billions of dollars laying around, why not end poverty? Why not improve the Affordable Care Act? Why not educate everyone who want higher education so our nation can compete for the best paying jobs? There are a helluva lot of problems to be repaired before we build a wall.
“There’s money out there and another big bunch of money would be for all of the illegals we’ve been in-processing,” Gohmert explained, indicating money could be shifted from one program to the wall. “We’ll be able to spend that more on the wall than we are on in-processing.”
“But there’s billions of dollars we couldn’t find out where they are,” Gohmert continued, essentially claiming that there’s lost money in accounting.
This is from another dumb Texan who ‘couldn’t find his a** with both hands.’
But you know what? With moronic Republicans in control of our government, they will find money for their pet projects, but none for programs badly needed by the majority. There is not a single honest, caring Republican in Washington; they have offered proof of this fact for the last eight years.
Having a morally corrupt man as our president is sad, but even more depressing is that our nation is forced to endure the lack of leadership of Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell. They are the worst at their jobs in our nation’s history.
In January of 2017, the majority of Americans will have no representation in our government. Republicans and big business will ignore the needs of the working class, minorities, and women. Nearly 12 million Hispanics will either remain in limbo, or be rounded up like cattle, placed in cages, and deported. This would cost hundreds of millions of dollars and greatly harm our economy. I don’t like Trump’s idea of what makes America “great.”
What should be done is to build a wall around the White House and imprison Trump for his crimes, which have been ignored by all of the media.
